Esl — English As A Second Language

Breaking Language Barriers. Creating Opportunities.

The Foundation seeks to provide English language education for adults who want to improve their ability to communicate, work, study, and navigate everyday life in the United States.

 

Special emphasis will be placed on supporting Haitian Creole-speaking individuals and families, while welcoming other individuals who can benefit from ESL education.

Classes may focus on:

  • Conversational English

  • Reading

  • Writing

  • Pronunciation

  • Everyday communication

  • Workplace English

  • Healthcare vocabulary

  • Communication with schools and community agencies

  • Life-skills communication

  • Community navigation

Our goal is to help participants gain confidence and independence through language.

CPR, First Aid & Life-saving Skills

Be Prepared. Know What to Do. Save a Life.

The Foundation will provide CPR and First Aid educational opportunities for individuals, families, businesses, schools, churches, community organizations, and other groups.

Training offerings may include:

  • Adult CPR

  • Child CPR

  • Infant CPR

  • AED education/training

  • First Aid

  • Emergency response education

  • Basic emergency preparedness

  • Community safety education

Where certification is offered, courses will be provided through appropriately authorized training programs/instructors.
